Two of my favorite foods in the world are cheese and beef, both of which were specialties in the Old Swiss Inn. Although we came there for lunch, since we already had a very heavy breakfast, we only ordered the Le Parisienne Raclette Grill for three in our party. We would have ordered another dish as well but the waiter suggested we hold off on that until we saw how much the grill spread was. And he was right. The amount of food of the grill was just enough for our already full bellies. There were 300g of meat and enough mushrooms, zucchinis, egg plant and marble potatoes to go with the Raclette cheese. The beef was already partly seared with a pepper crust and very soft and could be grilled to your own liking. And then paired with the cheese and the veg, I was in food heaven. The novelty of using the grill apparatus to melt the cheese and grill the food also added to the wonderful experience. And as a bonus, my wife and daughter, who were ambivalent at best to eating there, were blown away and would want to have a second round sometime soon. Oh the magic of cheese and good beef!
